Fun Foiled Sentiments CAS Cards

Fun Foiled Sentiments CAS Cards

I love foiling but oftentimes I don’t have time to break out all the supplies and machines for quick cards so I purchased Pinkfresh Studio’s Ephemera Foiled sentiment pack. It comes with a variety of sentiments in gold and silver foiling that’s already perfectly die cut and ready to use!

So, I picked out 3 sentiments for my cards today and all I had to do was pair them with a cool design LOL! I opted to go with some really pretty pattern papers for my backgrounds with The Paper Boutique Damask Delights Collection A4 Insert Paper Pack. This paper pack has so many pretty flowers. Now, this isn’t cardstock so once I trimmed down my papers, I added cardstock to the back to strengthen them.

I also used other embellishments which I’ll talk more about with each card below. My colorway theme for these was using purples, lilacs and mauve. I love how these shades work together and it has a vintage feel which I adore!

For this card above, I had extra die cuts from Pretty Pink Posh’s “Peonies” stencil/die set that I saved from the Tent topper cards I made in this post. After adhering my pattern paper to my card base, I placed the flower clusters right centered and added my foiled sentiment on top.

For my 2nd card, I used a combination of pattern papers (one for the background and a strip that I placed as a left border). I paired gold and silver foiled sentiments for this card. I have always loved mixing silver/gold jewelry so why not on a card?!

For my final card, I paired the background pattern paper with a 3D vintage flower sticker from Dollar Tree and then added my silver foiled sentiments. The Dollar Tree in my town has a great selection of crafty items and I love to shop there for embellishments.

That was all I did for these 3 cards, so simple, so quick and so beautiful. I opted not to add sequins or Nuvo drops to let the foil and the flower designs on the background stand out. Sometimes, you don’t need a whole lot to make pretty cards!
