June Monthly Challenge: Foiling with the Minc Machine

Monthly Challenge: Use what's in my Stash #2

I’m really having fun with this challenge! Should have done this kind of post before, but anyway today I’m sharing 2 cards that I made using my Mini Minc machine! I haven’t foiled anything in a really long time and when I was shopping my supplies I came across some transfer foil sheets.

I have a whole slew of foil supplies for the Minc machine so I pulled out a bunch of sentiments, tags and what not and just foiled my little heart out. I paired several foil elements for these cards and it was so fun! Check out some other ways I’ve used the Mini Machine here.

First up, I used gold butterfly transfer paper I had from Dollar Tree on my card panels. It’s easy to use, you just remove the backing sheet and carefully rub the design over your cardstock. I used my Teflon bone folder to help me.

Then, I added the leaf pattern (I bought from Simon Says Stamp but couldn’t find this product) after foiling it with green deco foil by Gina K. Designs. I cut this in half to use on both cards.

The added butterflies comes from my collection of alcohol inking that I did on yupo paper using Simon Says Stamp’s Adeline butterfly dies to cut them out. I made tons of them all in different colors and put them in my organizer. They’ve been there for a year!! Finally, I’m using them so for these cards I chose the green butterflies.

The gold sentiments are my go-to’s that I love from Pink Fresh Studio. To add dimension, I used foam squares behind the sentiments.

The pictures just can’t capture all the shine and beauty from the foiling. I sure wish you could see these cards in person!
