Heart-Shaped Cards with Spellbinders In the Meadow Washi Tape

Heart-Shaped Cards with Spellbinders In the Meadow Washi Tape

I love a good shaped card and though I haven’t made many, I do love a heart-shaped card and so I decided to make a few with a congratulations theme. As you probably know, I just love using Pinkfresh Studio’s washi tape and dies for my cards. Well, I decided to see if I could use it again to showcase my shaped cards.

The first thing to do was make my heart shaped card bases which I did using a regular side-fold A2 card base. Then I placed my heart a little bit off the bottom left edge to form a hinge thereby making it heart-shaped card base. I have a picture below of what the inside looks like.

This is the finished heart-shaped card base with my washi tape panel on top.

After creating my heart card bases, next thing to do was die cut my front card panel which I did by placing some washi tape over white cardstock and with my largest heart nested die, I die cut through my Gemini Jr.

I also placed a few extras washi florals from the die to space on top and make portions of the cards have some dimension.

I used Pinkfresh Studio’s foiled sentiments for the fronts of my cards. And my 3 heart-shaped cards are done!
