Birthday Cards with Pattern Paper & $1 Store Stickers

Birthday Cards with Pattern Paper & $1 Store Stickers

CAS cards is my absolute Jam! There’s many reasons for that and maybe that’ll be for another post. This card just came together in literal minutes! And it sure helps when you have cool products to use!

Another thing I like are pattern papers, I know most handmade cardmakers prefer to make their own backgrounds and I also like that too. However, I can’t turn my head away when I see pretty paper packs that allows me to almost speed make a card!

I also like to go to the Dollar Tree in my area because they have some really cool craft supplies there. I picked up some birthday stickers that I knew would pair well with my pattern paper and the design I had in mind.

The pretty and bright striped pattern paper is from Waffleflower Crafts, “JJ’s Rainbow Paper Pad“. They introduced a whole line of different pattern paper packs last year I believe and I bought a LOT of them! Click here to see their entire line of pattern paper pads.

What I did to make this card was; I trimmed a sheet diagonally and then glued the larger part on top and the smaller on the bottom leaving this really cool slanted opening.

The stickers are got were 3D and though they had foam tape behind them, I still used liquid glue to ensure they wouldn’t pop off. Also, added a 3D star sticker and that was all there was to this card design! Told Ya!, made it in mere minutes! LOL
