3D Tissue Box Cover

3D Tissue Box Cover

Hi my crafty friends! Today, I’m super duper excited to share this latest project with you. It turned out so cute! I purchased a tissue box holder die set about 2 years ago on AZ cause I really liked the pictures. It creates a house that you can decorate so many ways and it fits over a tissue box.

The company I like to buy from their AZ store is KSCraft. They are one of the few crafty companies in China that really makes high quality cardmaking and paper crafting products. I’ve bought quite a lot of their die sets. And, I like that they have a YT channel showcasing tutorials on how to use their products. Also, they have monthly releases. They sell on both Aliexpress and AZ. I shop on their AZ store.

The only drawback to this set was it didn’t come with instructions but thankfully, there are YT videos that show how to use it and the one I liked and followed to make my project is embedded below in case you’d like to watch it or if it doesn’t play, you can watch it on YT. As of this posting, this die set is still available on AZ and I’ve linked to it below in case you’re interested. KSCraft also has so many other cute die collections.

So onto how I decorated my box. First, I picked out my pattern papers and for that I used Paper Rose’s “Blooming Proteas” 12×12 paper pack. I love this pack, the florals are stunning, check out the Z-fold card I made with this paper pack here. I die cut all the pieces for the box and then I adhered all of them together like in the video using a combo of double-sided tape and liquid glue.

To embellish it, I used some pom pom trimming I have in my stash to adorn the roof, some die cut hearts on pink felt for the front door, Nuvo Crystal drops for the door knob and to decorate all my windows. I also added a floral cluster from My Favorite Things and Spellbinders on the right side of the house. I added a white fence all the the way round my house from Spellbinders “Spring” Birdhouse through the Seasons die set. Lastly, I made a stand for the house to sit on. For that, I bought white foam board from Dollar Tree. I cut it down to approx 6″ x 6″ and I covered it with The Paper Boutique’s “Damask” pattern paper.

I placed my box right over my tissue box, fits perfectly, and you pull the tissue out through the chimney! Clever, right?! 😀

There’s just so many ways to decorate this tissue box cover! It could just be a standalone 3D house. I can see how this die set would work with so many holidays like a gingerbread house for Christmas or patriotic for 4th of July or a birdhouse for Summer. The possibilities are endless!
