Hi my friends! Today, I’m sharing a 2nd Z-Fold card from the Paper Rose Studio’s “Blooming Proteas” 12×12 Paper Collection. This is a beautiful set of florals that can be used all year-round! When I made my first Z-fold card here, I had to make more! Today’s card displays these beautiful florals over Simon Says Stamps’ “Schoolhouse Red” cardstock. I think it pairs perfectly with the colors in the flowers.
I really wanted to use a nice sentiment and last year I bought Scrapbook.com’s “Faith and Scriptures” Rub-on transfer sheet. I love using verses in my cards and Philippians 4:13 is perfect to encourage fellow believers, it reads: “I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.”
Rub-on transfers are making a comeback, they are easy to apply and they come in many elements. The set from Scrapbook.com comes with a popsicle stick for helping you apply pressure on the rub-on transfer so it sticks to your project, but I had more success using my Teflon bone folder.
I first trimmed my red cardstock papers to A2 size and I trimmed off just a bit on one side to ensure the card will fold nicely. Then, I trimmed the florals to just shy of A2 so that there would be a little border. For full instructions on how I construct the Z-fold cardbase, be sure to read my earlier post.
To have a space for a personal message, I trimmed some pattern paper from My Favorite Things to be the border for the white cardstock and placed ths on the inside panel. There’s florals on every panel except the very back of the card cause that’s where I stamped my logo.

I really am loving these Z-fold cards and do have plans to make more!
