I actually finished making all my Christmas cards for the year. I LOVE Christmas crafting but it’s also nice to take a break and create something else. Decided to get a jumpstart on Valentine’s Day crafting. I wasn’t happy with my collection from this year so I was anxious to do better for next year.
I’m going with Clean and Simple (my favorite layout) with this collection and breaking it into 3 separate posts. All my cards start with a simple heart die cut in the center of the card panels. It was probably the 5th heart from the smallest size die that I used.
For this Part 1 post, I used flower stickers from Simon Says Stamp’s “April 2021” card kit to decorate the card. The sticker book is Simple Stories “Vintage Cottage” that comes with 12 sheets. The “Love You” sentiment is from Simon’s “Sketched Flowers” stamp set.
The flowers and butterflies in the background are pattern papers also from Simple Stories “Vintage Cottage Fields” collection.
I used some double sided foam tape under some of the flower stickers to give them dimension. Added a couple of hearts as well.
The “Love You” sentiment was stamped with Simon’s Pawsitvely Saturated Ink “Blush“. Simple cards that turned out beautifully! Perfect for a loved one!
