I have this box in my craftroom and if you craft, you probably have something similar. Anyway, when I make colorful backgrounds with watercolor, gel press, alcohol inks and even ink blending, I put these panels in that box. It’s a great way to have something to pull from for making cards quickly.
Trouble is, I often forget to look through that box when I go to make a card. The other day as I was shopping my stash, I decided to look in the box and that’s when I saw these 3 lovely panels that I colored with my Zig markers. These are Suzy’s Watercolor cards that are sold on the Simon Says Stamp website.
I colored these probably a year or so ago so unfortunately, I don’t remember the exact colors I used. However, if you like to watercolor with Zigs or any other brush markers you have, then you can use whatever colors you like. Today’s post is more like a lookbook! The only thing I had to do to turn these into cards was add a sentiment! YAY!! I used these from 2 Simon Says Stamp’s stamp sets: “Beautiful Butterflies” and “Garden Greetings”. I stamped these on white cardstock and used a circle die to cut them out.
I decided to match the shadow circle dies with my card borders. The cardstock I used also comes from Simon. I think they are so cute and fun to color!
