Hey friends! From a 12 x 12 paper pack, you can trim down enough panels for several cards so when I was done with yesterday’s cards, I put these extras in my box for today’s card design. I’m using “Dress my Craft” Magnolias Paper Pack and these papers are:
- One-sided which I love so I don’t have to choose which side I like better;
- These are heavyweight cardstock (240 GSM) and not thin paper so they make excellent card panels and you can die cut with them; and
- The patterns are so pretty – every sheet in this pack speaks to me!
I did minimal designing with these 3 cards so that the backgrounds would stand out more. I only added a few embellishments. I really wanted the sentiment to match up well and so I searched through my stamp sets for a pretty scripty font and I found it in Altenew’s “Beauty Within” stamp set. I stamped it with Simon Says Stamp’s “Pawsitively Saturated” Inks in blush color (my favorite).
For these 2 cards above, I added Pinkfresh Studio’s “Lacey Edges” die on the top and 3D heart stickers from Dollar Tree.
For the final touches, I added Nuvo Dream Drops “Fairy Wings”.
For my final card, I wanted a landscape design and I wanted the sentiment to stand out more. So, I reached for My Favorite Things (MFT) “Straight Up Rainbow” Dienamics set. The love banner/arrow is also a 3D sticker from Dollar Tree.
Very simple designing, but I love how pretty these cards turned out! You just don’t always need a lot to make some really awesome cards!
