Hey crafties! Today, I’m sharing 2 cards that I stamped 2 ways to color with my Copics. I really love how they turned out using the “flicker” method to lay down my colors.
The stamp set comes from Simon Says Stamp. It’s their “Friendly Flowers” stamp set and the flower clusters are large enough to fill a card nicely.
For my first card above, I stamped part of the image in all four corners with Memento Black Tuxedo ink. I just flipped my cardstock inside my Misti and kept stamping.
The Copic markers I used were: (pinks →RV55 lightest and RV65 darker; for the berries → RV25; leaves → YG25 lightest and YG67 darkest; centers → E79 with detailing using #10 white Gelly Roll pen). I also used the same pinks for the butterflies.
For my 2nd card, I stamped more of the image on 2 sides of my card panel. I added the butterfly on one side and again flipped it and stamped it on the other side.
I stamped my sentiments in the center of both cards and adhered them to my card bases. Then lastly, I added some Nuvo Crystal Drops for embellishments.
