“Boho-Abstract”-Inspired Backgrounds for Making Multiple Cards Quickly - Part 2

Hi friends, I’m back again with more Boho-Abstract backgrounds that I’ve paired with the rest of my 3D butterflies from the Dollar Tree. I had so much fun playing with my Distress traditional inks and brayer that I had to make more cards! Be sure to check out my Part 1 post here!

I used the same Distress ink colors as in my Part 1 post so you can click the link above to go there if you’re interested 🙂 I went with different sentiments from Scrapbook.com. I love how encouraging they are and they’re perfect to give to someone going through hard times.

All the cards features Honey Bee Stamps “Greenery” Lovely Layers dies.

I trimmed all my panels on down to 3-1/2″ x 4-3/4″ AND I placed them on my card bases on an angle to give the cards more interest.

I am so in love with this abstract look and the direct to paper ink technique is another staple that I love to use when I’m in a creative funk or just want to add color to paper quickly.

I ran my ink pads across my paper in different directions giving each card its own personality. Some of the leaves I die cut a couple of times and stacked them for dimension while others I didn’t. Also, I decided to leave them uncolored as the backgrounds are the stars!

And I just LOVE those 3d gold butterflies! I need more of them! Wish you could see these cards in person. The camera has a hard time capturing foiling!
