Today I’m back with more Valentine’s Day cards with Pinkfresh Studio’s “In the Meadow” washi tape die bundle! I so love these flowers on this washi tape that I had to make more cards using it. These are made differently from my part 1 post, you can read that here.
This time, I filled my backgrounds entirely with the washi tape after die cutting all the pieces + I used Pinkfresh Studio’s Diagonal stitched circle die to stamp my sentiment and used double sided foam tape to surround them with more flowers! I loved how these cards turned out 😀
As you can see from all 3 cards, they each have a similar design but I changed the placement so that they would have their own distinct look.
This is a great tip for mass producing cards that I love. For example, I changed the direction of the sentiments. One is more towards the bottom right hand side of the card, the other is more centered and the last one is over to the left side.
This technique keeps me from becoming bored when I making quantities of the same card design.
Other changes I love to make when mass producing is changing up colors for sentiments. I didn’t do that here as I focused more on changing the washi tape die cuts and sentiment placement.
The sentiments come from Simon Says Stamp’s “Hibiscus” stamp set. I used the “Blush” Pawsitively Saturated ink (my favorite) and the Intense Black ink pad. For a little dimension, I trimmed down some white cardstock to go behind my flowers. The panels measure 4″ x 5-1/4″.
I had a BALL making these cards! So quick and so easy! Here’s a few more pics!
