I sure do love a pretty pattern paper design and Paper Rose Studios knocks it out of the park every time! I just recently purchased their “Butterfly Garden” Collection and “Butterfly Kisses” pattern packs and now I’ve added “Sunny Days”!
This pattern collection is so sweet with images of bunnies with kites, balloons and butterflies! There’s also images of bunnies enjoying ice cream, so sweet! I purchased the 12 x 12 and 6 x 6 sizes. When you have a really pretty pattern paper, making cards is so easy and so quick!
Today, I have 2 cards from this collection and I paired it a bit with the Butterfly Garden pre-cut images.
Aren’t these bunnies the cutest? With the card above, I fussy cut one of the bunnies and placed him over one of the papers from the Butterfly Garden collection. Also, from that same collection, I added the circle pre-cut image sentiment, “Thinking of You” with some butterflies behind it. I trimmed it down to 3-3/4″ x 5″ so that I could add a gold border trimmed to 4″ x 5-1/4″.
On the card below, I wanted to enhance the sky so I used Simon Says Stamp’s clouds stencil with Pink Fresh Studio “Summer Shower” ink pad to create the clouds and it really matched the blue color of the pattern paper nicely.
I added butterflies pre-cut images from the Butterfly Garden collection and the sentiment “Brighter Days are Ahead” is from Hero Arts older card kits (sold out).
Both these cards came together so fast and they are sooo cute! I have much more left of this collection that I have plans for sooo stay tuned for more cards with this wonderful paper pack!
