I love washi tape but I hardly use it, so when I was watching a YT video the other day, the content creator showed like 10 ways to use it on cards, I went through my drawers and pulled out my stash. I love Pinkfresh Studio’s washi tape collections, they are so beautiful and they often come with stencils, stamps and dies so you have so many choices how to add the washi to your cards. Plus the washi tape is large and can fill a good part of your card panel.
I decided to use some embossing folders to give my panels some texture. Playing with a lil washi tape and embossing folders are so fun! I also used my sand eraser across the embossed side of my panels to bring more attention.
To embellish, I die cut some flowers 💐 to frame the sentiment (comes from Simon Says Stamp “Beautiful Butterflies”) that I stamped on a nested die shape set.
These cards are not super dimensional but I did add some foam squares to some of the florals. These were fun to make! I must get more washi tape!! Check out more cards I’ve made with these washi tape!
