Getting my Mojo Back with Scrapbook.com's Cozy Autumn A2 Wreath

Hey there! I’m back! I’ve been MIA for a bit working as this is the busiest time of the year for my day job and I absolutely miss crafting. That said, I did pick up a few new products and today I’m playing with Scrapbook.com’s Cozy Autumn A2 Wreath die set. This wreath came as a free gift with my purchase and as of the time of this blog post, it’s still showing on their website as a free gift so if you want it, better go grab it quick.

Scrapbook.com is one of my favorite companies to shop with, they offer daily deals and oftentimes there’s a free gift with purchase plus I like that they’re located near Oregon so doesn’t take too long to receive my purchases!

I also bought some other cool products but just hadn’t had enough time to play with all of them yet so stay tuned…

This wreath die set is so pretty and it’s perfect for Fall but I think with die cutting it on other colored cardstock, it can easily turn into a Christmas card. For my simple card design today, I die cut the wreath 4 times with Scrapbook.com’s Boho Pattern papers. This pack is about 80 lb. so it’s great for die cutting.

For my background, I picked some pattern paper from my stash for the top of the card and for the bottom, I used Lawn Fawn’s Hillside die set, inked it with Pinkfresh Studio’s “Doe” ink. I’ve used this die set many times even made a Display Frame Card here.

The wreath die cuts out the center so I ended up with 4 circles but I die cut more so that I could have a lot of dimension in that center. The sentiment is “Hello Fall” stamp set in from Honey Bee Stamps stamped in “Doe” ink.

After putting together my card panel, I glued the layers of wreaths one at a time. It was very delicate so I was careful. The next layers I placed intentionally slightly to the right to show a “drop shadow” effect as the term we use in graphic design.

Lastly, I glued all my center circles together and adhered them to the center of the wreath. That finished this card! I know I could have added some decorations but really I didn’t think it needed it and plus this was to get my motivation back so I wanted to make a really simple but pretty Fall card. I’ll be using this wreath die again and again!
