Craft Space Tour

Craft Space Organization

Hi Crafty friends! I have another different type post today. I’ve never shown pics of the space I craft in and I was thinking maybe I should share it. Currently, my hubby and I rent an apartment but our dream is to own a house. We’ve never owned one before and we are looking so for now this is where we are.

The other day I shared my review of my White glassboard mat and how it changed the decor of my space. You can read that review here.

I can’t call this a craftroom tour nor do I consider it “my craftroom” because I think of this space as temporary. I have in my mind what I’d like my own craftroom to look like so I began by changing a lot of things because even though this room is temporary, I still wanted it to be inspiring.

I work my day job as well as craft so it had to be pretty, I’m a girly girl and I love bling, neutrals, golds, silvers, etc. I started by changing the color scheme from black, darker colors and I went totally the opposite. I took a bunch of pictures to give you an idea of where I work and play.

These two photos shows where my glass mat is. We bought a smaller table to fit the space. The room is quite small 10 sq x 10 sq and I wanted as much space as I could to move around. Update: I’ve since moved some of the items off my craft table because I needed more room to work.

On my table at the time is my pegboard cube that I DIY built, my Copic markers, craft carousel and my magnifer light I use when making my earrings. To the right of that was my large monitor that I used as an extra display but my computer gave me some issues a few weeks ago so I had to switch that monitor to my office desk instead.

I love silk plants so I dressed up my pegboard cube but I’ve moved it to my craft table so that I could use the inside of my cube for extra storage (below.)

I took pics of all 4 sides of my pegboard cube. I learned how to build this watching Shannon of the Daily Diyer. If you’re interested, watch her video on YT here. I couldn’t find white pegboards at my local Dollar Tree so I bought mine on AZ and I’ll link to it below.

I bought all my pegboard hooks from Dollar Tree. The bin cups I bought on AZ but couldn’t find a link to the white cups. This cube sits on my craft table with all my tools at arms reach.

My Hollywood vanity mirror sits on my walk-up station where I do all my die cutting, cutting fabric, putting together orders and sometimes crafting. I decorated it with those 3 Christmas owls, I collect stuffed animals. They make me happy!

Over on the left side of the room is where I keep my bins and they’re organized so that I can shop my stash of stickers, Christmas embellishmenets, heat embossing tools, electronics, extra craft supplies and shipping supplies.

My craft cart is next to it where I keep my die cutting machines and laminators. I also keep my hot foil glimmer machine, cardstock for my cardmaking and extra supplies for my earrings.

I made a 2nd pegboard cube, I just love that idea. In this apartment, we can’t hang anything on the walls so the cube was the best solution to have the tools I grab for the most readily available.

The window sill where I keep more flowers and I displayed a shaker card I made that I really liked so decided to keep it for myself.

Forgive the photos if they look over exposed, it was a lot of light coming in 🙂 All in all this is the look I want for my own forever craftroom and it makes me happy to create with the light bright colors!
